Thilan is an amazing experienced guide. We hired him for a 3 1/2 taxi journey from Ella to Galle and had an amazing driving experience. He made a few stops to show us things along the route as wildlife and culture, stopped to let us try some local curd (amazing with their local treacle), and provided us with what I can call is a small personal tour. His knowledge is incredible and a really safe driver. The time flew by. I would hope all those reading this use this guide / driver as he is worth using his services.
